I think if I don't get more than three hours of sleep in one go sometime soon I may just lose my mind.
In other news.... The kirtle bodice looks a little better today. I used safety pins to hold it closed and was able to get a better idea on fit. The big glaring problem yesterday is not so much now. It is still a little loose in the top area. Something that in future reincarnations I would probably work at fixing but for this I don't think its worth the headache of starting all over and wasting the fabric I have already used. Where as the gapage problem I had last night was a throw this away and start over problem. I am still fitzing with the shoulder straps. I don't want them to loose which is another problem with my Ren garb. I have a few other minor seams match up problems but those are easily fixed if not slightly irritating.
My other bit of news was my job interview. I was so anxious and nervous. It was for an office position in the local prison. I think it's sad I would rather go out and mingle with the prisoners then do the actual interview. I think my nerves showed through with a few to many ummms and stuttering/stammering. And a few of the questions they asked made me completely second guess myself and feel stupid. Example is one of the male inmates starts flirting with you and exposes himself. What do you do? My answer: " Instruct him to pull up his pants, NOW and report the incident immediately." Thier next question. "Is that all?" uhhhhh..... yea???????? I don't understand...what else do you want me to do? They then tell me that I will have a complete orientation on what to do with inmates... Well then I will do exactly what you tell me to do so what does it matter what I would do at this point in time having not been trained. Okay I may be bitter because I am not sleeping right but come on! I may have blown it also... They asked if this was what I wanted to do as a career. I told them the truth. I have the hardest time lying, or in a more political correct way or saying it, fibing to tell you what you want to hear. I don't want to work in an office. I want to work in the medical part. The prison part doesn't bother me. But I do want to work in the medical part. So they asked me why I didn't just apply for that part. Well.... I don't have any certificates right now and until I get them I need a job. I don't think I said it quite like that but that sums up what I said. Yea... probably should of fibbed a bit more but when nervous I don't think things out. I can only wait and see at this point but not feel all confident about it. But hey, I also put in for a detention officer at the same place. So I will be back in a few weeks to try again I guess. *rofl* I can think of a good answer for the second part of that question when they ask me if thats all.
