Oh man, I LOVED doing stage makeup when I was in college. My minor was in theatre and makeup was my favorite. I highly recommend the textbook we used in my makeup class, "Stage Makeup" by Richard Corson. Last I checked the latest edition was #8, but earlier editions can be gotten for pretty cheap online. We had a lot of fun on "wounds day!" I wish I could come do it for you...because man, do I miss it. More than any other part of theatre, I think.
