I was able to get a little bit of progress done yesterday on the Autumn dress. And I do mean a little bit.  I stitched 4 basting stitches across the sleeves. 6 if you count where the sleeve splits. I did this so I could handle it better. Main reason is because every time I moved the project a couple of the pins would slip and I would have pieces again. The other reason was to cut back a bit on the number of pins in the project. Ouchie! Besides those its not a total waste. It gives me a working line to know where to connect the sleeve bits later with beads. I also pinned down part of the bodice trim. I ran low on the paisley design so I am trying to be creative with the trim I think I have it now where I could wear it and it  would look fine and then I could go back and add the more of the trim when I can get more. Well when I can bribe Avien with lots of chocolate and she has time again. Besides isn't that how a good Ren dress works. You are never really done with it because you can always do more.
On other sewing news I was able to finish up my hubbys PJ set last night. Its only  about a month late because they were suppose to be for X-mas.... oh well better late then never.

A quick poll for all the wonderful and more talented costumers on my friends list. Which looks better to you. I am sadly disappointed that the way I was going to do it just doesn't look right to me. Thankfully a lot of it is just pinned still and I hadn't started the hand sewing.[Poll #1335909][Poll #1335909]
