(no subject)

Today I asked my hubby to pass me my awl so I could start the next eyelet. He had no clue what I was talking about even though I was pointing at it. So I told him "The shank babe." He knew exactly what I meant then. *facepalm* all I can do is imagine what someone must be thinking if they heard us. "Hey babe pass me my shank...."
He also made me blush. I was telling him about one of the costumes I am working on and explaining the pieces I have commissioned. He told me I would have to take a picture on my phone and send it to him. I was thoroughly confused so I asked him why. He told me "because you're going to be a pretty pretty princess and I won't be there to see." Damn him.... I knew I kept him around for a reason....
