I didn't meet my goal yesterday. The colors bleeding took a lot of wind out of my sails.
I was able to make them into sleeves before I threw in the towel from frustration.

And then I woke up with stomach issues. Won't go into the tmi details but it was bad enough I thought I was gonna pass out from the dizziness. It's probably from dinner last night. A restaurant we normally go to was not up to par like it usually is. We said something as we were eating but now I'm certain. BLAH!
So I'm taking it really slow today. A nap with my baby boy is in order and if after I can do things without feeling dizzy I will work on the bodice. I think my game plan is to ignore the bleeding until after the Jane Austen evening. If it still bothers me then I will redo it.
Which leads me to a question. How do I get the colors to do their bleeding before hand? I may not wash the dress a lot but I will need to wash away whatever I use to mark the embroidery design onto the fabric. Rinse the thread in cold water first? But will that make it lose the variegated effect that I kind of adore about this thread? BLAH! Blah I say!
