Color pallette

nuranar and suededsilk at CoCo prompted me to look up my color pallette. I have noticed ever since I was little that I don't like the colors most people say look good on me. Pinks and pastels. BLAH!!!!! I think in high school I totally rebeled and just wore black out of spite. I've backed away from that, thank goodness, but its not the light colors everybody says I should wear. I LOVE jewel tones. I found through a bit of research I am a Summer. Something between light and soft summer. With my natural hair color, a dark blonde, I am closer to the soft summer. With the super light blonde hair that I like better on me I am probably closer to the light summer. There is some overlap in the colors which is good. Though I do notice more of the pale icky more pink colors in the light summer. The soft summer on the other hand. I can get behind those colors. Not all jewel tones but still colors I like.
Its something I am going to play with more. That and to keep in mind to go back and reference when I change hair color by use of wigs.
