I got alot of sewing done today. But not on a single Costume Con project. I was tired of messing with the sleeves and Chris' costume was boring me so I started on a skirt. I love the cut of it. It makes it super swoosy. I also love the fabric I choose. Its a grey with a darker grey and light blue flower print. The blue of the flowers is raised almost like embroidery but its not. Super cute. Only bad thing is it is almost sheer so I had to use a dark grey fabric to line it. Took a bit more work but well worth it to use that fabric. When I finish it completely I will take pics to show. I still have to put in the zipper, waistband and hem it. So maybe another days worth of work. It was nice to do something that was almost brainless that still produced something pretty. I think I will finish up the night with Chris' pants and leave the skirt for tomorrow.

Oh and btw, since i forgot before...i would have been happy to get you a pattern...but it seems to have been a (typical) weird, randomly short sale, as I found when I wanted to go back and get more patterns myself (as it doesn't seem as bad when you spend the same amount of money, just at 2 different times, you know?) and they aren't on sale any more. Evil Jo-ann's!!!

Thanks for looking for me though. That would of been really cool. Only patterns I have seen here are in Japanese. Now that would be a challenge!
