I finsihed the paper that is due tomorrow earlier today so I have been sewing away. My list of things to do is slowly but surely getting more things crossed out then not crossed out. I finished up one set of the rusty orange colored pieces of sleeves now I just need to start the other sleeves pieces. Then I can have a massive iron-a-thon and make them look more like strips and not orange and white, ( I used white for my lining) snakes. Suprisingly Kit has not been in any why interested.
CADD is rearing its evil head.  aviendiora's steampunk apron and the other ones I had seen from Costume College pics make me want one. I am not so sure if I want the apron or just a skirt that has the same shape, drape, etc... With all sorts of hardware attached... No it would probably have to be the apron.... They just look sooooooo cool.  I want one! But I really can't. Not right now anyway. I only have 7ish months left until Costume Con and have none of the costumes on my to do list finished. Can't add anymore until I have more done then not done. Though Avien did finish hers in what... 1-2 weeks.... BAH!!!!!!!!! I need to get back to making orange and white snakes.

The apron itself only took about five days and three of them were work days and all of them have been spent working on other things as well. Yes, I'm evil...and off to start a new set of costumes...

And these aren't the sleeves you wanted me to embroider, are they? Or different pieces of the sleeves? The mind is too distracted at the moment to remember exactly what you wanted me to embroider.

Oh you are evil. I am adding it to my list of things to do but I am not allowed to touch it until after the Autumn dress is at a wearable state. And both Chris' and my Dead or Alive 4 costumes are done.
They are the sleeves I want to have embroidery on. I haven't given up on that yet. I am doing the strips that don't have the embroidery. :) I wanted to work on something that is pretty and this is a pretty fabric.

The apron is a lot of fun and it's practical too, not just a costume. At least for me. The funny thing is I could really use an apron right now but I'm keeping the apron clean for DragonCon so I'm a mess. Fuzzies all over! Good plan on the sleeves. Sometimes pretty is good...most of the time pretty is good. Hope the snakes are going well!
