It's that time, I need a new list. Again behind a cut for those not interested.
Map out on yellow silk the Forepart & strips
Measure forepart width
Hem and cut down underskirt length
Mark/Draw tirm onto Bodice interlining
Measure trim drawing for strip length
Cut all of the yellow silk's lining pieces out
Iron 'snakes' into strips
Add ties to the sleeve peices that need them
Close up the ends of the strips
Plot out embelishment placement
Turn over the edges and hand sew them down (Chris' pants)
Cut out the muslin strips for the bottom of his pants
Go though fabric stash and find a good black fabric for the bottom of his pants (Black linen in stash may work)
Attach muslin pieces to black fabric and attach to bottom of the pants
Add velcro closure
Sometimes I really wish my hubby wasn't color blind. It is nice to have a second set of eyes to look over clolor schemes or tell you their opinion on if the ties should be black or white.... *le sigh*
