I got my bolt of fabric in today. Probably not very exciting to anyone else in the world but me. Its plain ol 90" cotton muslin. But I am beyong excited because this means I can start on the mock ups of the over coat for the Autumn dress. Well as soon as there is a break in the school work. I have only been back to school for 3 weeks and I am already taking one of my midterms.  Next week is the midterm for the other class I am taking. Then the week after that is the second midterm for the first class. He is a weird teacher giving us two midterms and a final. No tests. I have also already had two papers and a project due. My second and third projects are due next week.  Except for a wee bit of hand sewing I haven't gotten to touch my sewing stuff for almost a week. :(  Hopefully this weekend will be all sorts of progress... as long as the teacher doesn't give us another paper due first thing next week :(.

I would be excited to get a bolt of muslin! I used up almost all of mine in prep for DragonCon. Have fun with it all and even if you don't have much time now, you'll have plenty of time between semesters and you won't have to feel at all guilty about not doing anything else during break. =)
