I am working at being a good little blogger. I finished the page for my Victorian Bathing suit. It needs more construction pics. But there really isn't any.

New sewing has been minimal. I think its the switching of my shift but the funk is back again. I did do some basting on my Victorian corset. I am trying out a theory. I have this pet peeve of where I stitch in the ditch on one side and on the lining side its not in the ditch... SOOOOOO I hand basted ditches together. So now when I go back and do it on my machine they should line up and play nice nice with each other. I know its not rocket science but it really does irk me something awful when they don't line up. I am hoping to get all my boning channels sewn tomorrow.

Neat! Kind of related to the comment I left over there for you, this is my grandma in a swimsuit in 1921...hopefully the link will work for you, as I have not paid for a premium account in a while.

Thank you for sharing the photo and its story I love first hand (or what is it when she tells you and then you tell) accounts of history.
