I am crazier then a bed bug. I have agreed to make a toddler a halloween costume and participate in a Halloween costume contest :).  Thank goodness for the two weeks off before the next term. So here is a revised sewing list  and to do list that needs to be completed before Halloween.
Make another petticoat to go under my Regency dress. (what I am wearing to take my Japanese preschooler's trick or treating AND for the contest.
Learn Regency hair styles that can be used on long hair
Hem the R. dress
Plot motifies on the forepart and send supplies to Avien
Add trim to Drunken master costume
Burn and distress Drunken master costume
Make a x-long black belt for Drunken master costume
Make a chemise for toddler Halloween costume
Make a simple Italian like overdress for t.h.c
Now if I am able to fit the steampunk costume in there I am going to wear that one instead of the Regency one. But I need a fall back in case.

Just in case by "Learn Regency hair styles that can be used on long hair" you mean that you need instructions, try http://intimelyfashion.com/hair/main.html I've seen the second one done and it looked really good.

Good luck with your list! And take pics! =)

I have seen that site, (and now I have bookmarked it). I fear my hair may be to long for that hairstyle.... When I twist my hair up like the first step says my hair would fall back down to at least my shoulders.

Maybe try curling your hair first? I did the twist part for both my Inara costume and the steampunk one. With Inara, I pinned the curls sometimes two times to get them all to stay up high. The steampunk I just let hang loose once it was twisted up. I used a really tiny curling iron for the steampunk - took forever but it did shorten the length of my hair considerably. Yeah, I'm not very helpful...sorry. Hair is definitely the toughest part of a costume for me.
