School starts again tomorrow. I'm not sure I'm ready yet. I've spent the last week trying to recharge back to 100%. I think I am somewhere in the 50-60 range.
One thing that went a long way towards raising my spirits was learning to knit. I've wanted to learn for over a year. I've half assed learning by getting a learning kit and trying to teach myself. Didn't have much luck but Hubby had a friend over, whose girlfriend knows how to knit. So she showed me how. I know the knit and purl stitch now. :)
I am amused to find out I knit left handed. I've been finding more an more things that I do left handed even though I am a righty. This is about the 4th thing in the past year or so that I started doing with my left hand and hasn't even realized I was until I was called on it.

Date: 2014-04-07 12:57 pm (UTC)that's not "left handed" you're knitting "german" then. - That's how I knit, which comes as no surprise because my grandmother who taught me was German.
And that yarn looks gloriously fuzzy and i want to pet it. :) and if this is your first project? you're gonna do great- that's insanely even and neat for a first knitting job! good job!!!
