May. 29th, 2014 10:14 pmGreat mail day. I got a Vintage necklace off of Ebay. I don't think this picture does it justice. It's really pretty. It had said in

the description that one end had been replaced. And while I don't hate the replaced end I am debating on redoing it. I've always been pretty decent when it comes to Jewlery/beadwork and I really don't think this fix would be hard. What it really boils down to is I like the original end best and I think I can reproduce it. I'm not going to undo the replaced end though until I can find matching seedbeads. While the picture makes it look like regular flat black beads they're not. They're not AB finished either. So the quest for matching beads has begun. Hopefully its something Firemountain gems can help me with and not some long lost Vintage bead finish.
I also got my Stratfords. And they fit! I ended up going a whole size up from my normal size. So happy they fit though.
I am still stuck on whether or not a trip to the fabric district is worth it. It would be a bit cheaper. Not overly though. And I am slightly intimated by driving down there alone. Benefit would be maybe finding fabric for my 1910s suit, because so far the only thing I have found has been on spoonflower. But $18 for cotton broadcloth hurts me a little.
