May. 31st, 2014 12:34 pmWe had to take the critters into the vet today. Little Man is like Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hyde at the vet and today was no different. My normally tame lovable boy was a hissing biting monster. Even towards me. :( we decided to just bring the shot home. He had the mentality of "if you get me I will take you all with me." And we figured his stress was not worth it. I did end up asking what can we do about it because each visit only gets worse. Last two times there has been blood and I am sure the only reason there wasn't this time was because we didn't push the matter. They gave us some pheromone wipes. Some kitties they really help, some not at all. If they don't work then we will have to give him sedatives. The thought of that makes me teary but he doesn't just hurt us he hurts himself and that makes me feel worse.
Hubby and I just gave him the shot at home. I was holding him at first but hubby couldn't get the needle to puncture the skin. Little was irritated but he wasn't fighting me. We switched and little got MAD. Not 'at the vet its war' mad but I thought for sure Hubby was going to get bit. I finished it fairly quickly (makes me wonder if Hubby just didn't want to be the bad guy), and we let him go. Now he won't come to either of us, not even for treats. *pout* He knows how to get back at me. Gets me right in my heart.
