Jan. 12th, 2015 04:42 amI was really hoping I would finish the embroidery on my sleeves today/night. But at 4:30 a.m. I must admit defeat on not even finishing one. I have a feeling the rest will be faster as there was a lot of trial and error, and experimentation with different stitches.
I also have a feeling this one will be the ugliest as I master the stem stitch, which creates the variation on the petals. If I ever do it again I will know to start at the hem and do the sleeves last when I'm a pro. Oh well... I think it's going to be so pretty and even with my amateur sleeves it's better then a plain all white dress.
I doubt I finish tomorrow as I have to run to town on a bunch of errands but by Wednesday I plan to have the entire bodice put together.
