Mar. 10th, 2015 10:07 pmI usually like to reply to each person who comments but it would seriously be the same exact comment. Thank you guys. I still felt useless and I started crying. But I logically understand what you guys said to be true. But my heart still hurt. I just got off the phone with my friend. They went to a marriage counselor yesterday and he told her he was willing to keep trying. They will be going to the counselor 3 times a week. My main relief was the difference in her voice though. Whereas before she was broken. She has hope again and I could hear it. She told me she would write me later today and tell me more. Hopefully she will let us know if she needs us to come out there still.
In other news, took my first test in Physiology today. Holy cow my brain is mush. Not sure how well I did. I wrote so much and went right up until the time he kicked me out, but I feel some answers were lacking. We'll see and I will just have to study harder.
I have been moving forward on costumes. I am going to have to drop one I had planned for WonderCon though. I have to make a new kirtle and wasitcoat in about a month for faire. Oh wait! I haven't shared that info yet. I decided to take the plunge and joined the St Ives Guild. Went to my first meeting last weekend. Part of it was costume approval and my current duds won't work. Not because its not good enough (YES!!!!!) but because it doesn't fit the guild. My kirtle is black which they reserve for royalty and the Puritians and the waistcoat is silk with gold trim, which gives a higher class impression then they want. My cream kirtle will work but it's a medium weight wool. I am pretty sure I will melt on the hotter days. So that means I need to make something new real quick and in a hurry. :( I am a little bummed abou this. I really wanted both Luigi and Taffeta for WonderCon. But my hubby brought up a good point. I will have more time to make Taffeta for SDCC and I can make sure its done right without any shortcuts, which I would probably have had done with my current timeframe.
