Jun. 9th, 2014 10:31 pmFinally got my grades in! 3 As and a B. The B was in the evil Sociology class. Which truly shocks me. I had to have gotten an A on the final. I feel like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders.
Hubby says I'm not allowed to complain about my grades anymore, after seeing my scores in Math. I aced my final and got a 99.1 overall in the class. I told him I had to fight for that grade. Math doesn't come easy for me, it's only after several hours of homework, working the problems over and over again, that I finally get it.
He just continued to tease me about not getting 100% in the class. Jerk...

Date: 2014-06-10 11:20 am (UTC)And for what it's worth, I don't know anyone who can learn math without doing the work. It's not my favorite subject, but I can learn it when I work the problems; the one course I didn't work problems, I got a C. And my mother's a math major and homeschooled all four of us through high school, including calculus for one of my brothers; and that brother is a whiz at math and married a girl with a master's in math. You have nothing to be ashamed of!!! :D

Date: 2014-06-10 03:33 pm (UTC)I just watched an amazing "math trick" video this morning that blew my mind! (I have a fourth grader who is better in math than I am, shameful) Anyway, it doesn't correlate to your post other than being "math," but I thought it was cool:
