Question for anyone who has taught at CoCo or even anyone who would like to chime in their preference. I have little kits for my class that include a button mold, a straight pin, and a sewing needle. The only other thing required to make the death head button is thread. Should I cut off lengths and include it in the kit or just bring the spools and have the 'students' cut off their own lengths. I am afraid the later would cause to much disruption but could be worrying about it for nothing. But if I do it myself am I just asking for tangled messes?

Definitely precut the thread. You are right. It will create a lot of wasted time in class to have each student cut their own. Maybe if you wrap the thread around a little piece of folded cardboard that would help keep it from getting tangled?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to play with the cardboard idea because I am certain it will solve my possibly tangled thread issue.

Definitely precut the thread. Coil it and put it into sandwich baggies for each student to keep it from tangling.

Having taught death heads, definitely cut the thread and wrap it around cardboard or paper rolls.
