Costume college has been a completely different experience so far this year for me. Mostly good, some bad, but definitely different. The good will get a complete rundown in my CoCo wrap up, the bad... Well who cares really, except one because I must know if anyone else feels the same. It's hot!!!!! Except in my room in the wee hours of the morning it's hot everywhere. Ugh. Because of that I decided not to wear my Victorian Explorer. It's a heavy costume, it's hot, I want to have fun tonight at the Gala. Which means no costume today, which will keep me charged to play tonight.
And speaking of the Gala. The beading on the front of my dress is complete and attached. *squee*

Aw, no!! That hotel should be ice cold for all you costumers! I noticed in all the pictures that are seeping through that everyone looks shiny and hot. All that hard work! All that money and time spent! Just to be overheated and sweaty in all the photos! GAH!!! The hotel should be ashamed of themselves. Why in the world does a world-renown multi-billion dollar corporation like Marriott have HOT HOTELS??? Air conditioning isn't difficult, people! Get it right!

The beading on your gala gown was SOOOOOO pretty! So perfect, I would have thought it was machine done if I didn't know better.

Yeah, it was definitely way too hot. The actual area right around the 1st floor costumes was not too bad, but there was like a line in the hallway where all of a sudden the temperature rose at least 10 or so degrees. Annoying.
