I had a pretty crappy week last week. I won't go into it to much. Not because I want to be vague but because I don't want to sound like I'm ungrateful. It's all school, which is stressful and life consuming. But even with all the grief it's giving me I am thankful to be in a place in my life that I can go to school. That wasn't always an option and the crappy part is temporary. THOUGH if you have any extra chocolate, kitty cuddles, brain cells, sleep, happy thoughts, good vibes, and/or prayers I could use them.
I may regret it in the coming week but I took the day off Saturday. I only spent an hour and a half on homework and then I did me stuff. I researched some stuff that will go into in a future blog post, I cleaned my kitchen, and did some yard work. I also started editing the death head button tutorial video. I had over 45 mins worth of video clips and my goal is to get it down to under 10. Ideally I would like to get it under 5 but I'm not sure it'll still cover everything I want to show.
Would anyone like to be my guinea pig? Before I make it public I'd like to see if it's any good. If my instructions are understandable, and if the video is clear enough. And of course to catch stupid errors like spelling or text box placements. I still have a few hours worth of work which could be awhile since my free time is limited but I figured I'd ask now.

You time is important! Take care of yourself in the midst of all the school craziness. It's so easy to get swept up into the madness. Sending chocolate, sleep, and kitten wishes, although I must regretfully decline the brain cells, I have none to spare. ;)

I know me time is important but I have had a lot of extra guilt. The straight As I've been use to aren't happening and My thoughts instantly go to, "if I hadn't (fill in the blank) I'd have done better."

I do have baby rat cuddles to give but I'm not sure how you feel about wee rodents. :) And also, for what it's worth, I'm SUPER impressed that you're going to school and are so dedicated about it. I was a terrible student and don't think I could ever make myself buckle down if I went back.

Also, I'm willing to be a guinea pig anytime!

I feel your pain about all the school stress. It always feels like you're treading water SO HARD! Sending you lots of good thoughts. You can do it! And sometimes you do need to take a bit of time for yourself. It will help you be a better student and stop you from burning out.

You hit the nail on the head. Treading water, and that's on a good day.
What you said makes sense logically, but I've been having a hard time this semester.
I'm use to straight As and haven't gotten an A in Chemistry or Anatomy yet this semester. And then the illogical side kicks in and I talk myself into believing if I hadn't taken that me time and studied more I'd have a better grade.

It can be tough. I'm often the perfectionist type myself. It's really hard to let go. A's are great and wonderful, but passing is the most important thing. Just keep on treading!
