On the sewing front, no much to tell...
I cut out the peices to my chemise for the Autumn dress only to find out I didn't have enough fabric for the full sleeves I want. So that was put on hold until I got paid. On payday I went off to get my fabric $50.00 dollars later I was armed not only with my chemise fabric(okay enough fabric for two chemise but come on it can always be used!) and fabric for pants for my husbands Dead or Alive 4 - Brad Wong aka Drunken Master costume. YEA!!!
Then out of curiosity I decided to burn my chemise fabric. ARGHHHHH its poly. How could it trick me so. It was in the silk section of the store and is sooo very soft. Now I am torn on whether to use it anyway because I have paid for it dangit and it is so soft, but possibly die of heat. Or wait until next paycheck to go get more fabric and hope for something even as close to soft as it is. OR I could take up Avien's  [profile] aviendioraoffer........ UGH!!!! so many choices. I want to start cutting and sewing already.
On the rest of my life front I have finally started school! Only three classes right now but I am happy to finally be doing it. I joined the military to go to school and the whole time I was in I was only able to take 1.5 classes. :(  No more deployments, duty or evil chains of command to stop me now!!!!!!!!

Use the fabric anyway! It's soft - and at least partly cut out - and you can work out the kinks on this one and make another later with non-synthetic fabric if it does turn out to be too warm. =)
