llyrafantasyfaeI have a lot to update on but in all honesty I don't want to right now. Quick sum up is my brothers came up last weekend. We went out to Rock Bottom Brewery and the Zoo. Otherwise we just drank and talked.
This week has just been sort of bleh for me but I am still plugging away at Christmas gifts. Right now my focus is on a TMNT blanket for my bro. Today I went to my first black Friday with Avien and Ryhnn. I loved the Jo-Anns shopping! I got lots of flannel for PJs. A couple for me, one for my hubby, two for a friend, one more that maybe for me maybe for my future sister-in-law, and one for my brother. So it seems I will be working on Christmas presents for awhile. I also picked up some plastic boning to start working up the mock up for a corset. I think this will be my secret project. Well secret to everyone but Avien. She already knows it. :)
And what is the secret project for, you ask? COSTUME COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! *squeeeeeeee* I got my acceptance letter today. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one else has commented on it on my friend's list but I am excited about it. So after Christmas sewing is done I will commence to go crazy on the Autumn dress. That thing REALLLY needs to be finished already. And then the secret project. If for some reason I actually finish both of those up before CC I will start on some other fun little project. I just know me and know how slow of a sewer I am, so I am not making big plans. If I do that and don't get them done I will be disappointed and that will take away from my CC happiness.
