I am such a sucker for punishment. I had only one more quilt in Que.  Well only one for other people I have a few I want to make for myself but those have no deadline what so ever. My hubby and his siblings have been hoo-humming over what to get their dad for his birthday.  Little brother really wanted to get him something "from the heart". So I suggested a quilt. Not just because of the whole made by hand thing but I suggested putting pictures of each of the three kids as little ones and pictures of them recently, then in the middle a picture of all three.  Why I did this... I dunno....  *le sigh* at least I have until the beginning of May. The fabric is already cut too.

I love the "evil in laws" tag for this. My "evil in laws" tag is "My stark raving mad mother in law" and when she's not pissing me off i have a tag "my delightfully crazy mother in law" HEE


I'm impressed you can bang out a quilt that fast. I've been working on one for almost 20 years. And its not even 1/2 done. If I applied myself I COULD get the top done within a few months and then i'd have to build/buy a quilting frame. Which I may just do.

I like your tags also. It always seemed to me she doesn't try to be mean on purpose. Mine do. First time racism had gotten up and smacked me. I just wasn't raised that way.
You know what's sad. I am surprised at how fast I quilt with how slow I costume. Are you doing yours completely by hand? I quilt mine by hand but piece it by machine.
