I love my husband... you know sometimes....  Yesterday when he saw I was upset he asked me why and I told him the status on the scholarship. He replied with, "So?"
Yea.... my first reaction was JERK!!!!!
He must of seen that on my face because he added, "what does it matter?"
I only got out "because" when he finished with "your going to Costume college."  He told me that he knew I loved it so no matter what I am going. Maybe not gala, tea, tours, and tons of marketplace money but I am going. He also brought up things I hadn't thought of, like we probably won't be going to Comic Con this year so that's quite a bit of money freed up. Not only that but we really do have two incomes (moneys been so tight for so long!!!!) coming in now and 7 months to save.  We came up with a plan that this year is all about using stash and no project can cost over $100. The only exception is my getting two pairs of shoes from American Duchess. But those can be reused for many many things to come. I think the only using stash will be a challenge but... could be fun too. So, I am in a better mood and sorta excited again with Plan B. Thank you everyone who commented before and [livejournal.com profile] theladyrebecca  when roomate time comes closer will definatly keep your offer in mind! That is the number 1 cost after the costume making for me is hotel costs.

leave everyone with a picture of my cuddlebug.

Plan B sounds good! And remember, just from stash doesn't have to mean just your stash. =) I don't always have something that would work but sometimes I have just the thing. I wonder if there's some kind of sewing supply trade community kinda like freecycle but in reverse...

hehehe your helpfully evil. Plan is to go through fabric this weekend and completely re-evalute what I want to do, when, and how. I know I have some good stuff in there. Just probably wasn't planning certain projects just yet.

I agree with aviendiora - no one says there can't be a stash swap!

Yay! I'm glad you can make it. And stash-sewing isn't too bad. Plus, by the end of the year, you'll have way more space to acquire fabrics for next year, when you (and I) hopefully will get a scholarship!

On a side note, is it terrible that I never even factored in the costs of fabrics for the costumes I'm planning to make for CosCol as part of my budget? Then again, I almost never buy any fabric for more than $5/yd...
