Working on the collar as I wait for fabric. I came up with this. It's the first time I've done a collar with out a pattern. I don't love it... But I don't hate it either. All I can see in the picture is the side closest to the sleeve. So I know it has two lapels. But after that I just made it up.

I still need to transfer all the Muslins to paper patterns, then I'm stuck till my fabric arrives. If it doesn't come tomorrow I will start on my hat.
I'm excited! I've had this hat form from Truly Victorian for FOREVER. I'm sort of happy I didn't use it earlier. I feel I have a slightly better grasp of things than when I first started and that's how long I've had this.

Little Man felt he needed to inspect it. I think it's because it came out of my millinery drawer which has my feathers in it. He really wanted the feathers but this is a good consultation prize.
