I washed the fabric yesterday and it reeks! I know wool smells when its wet but this REEEEKS!!! Does anyone think it would help to take another bath or should I just continue to try and air it out.
Unfortunatly there was a small staple in the salvage. I missed it amoungst the 10 yards of fabric, before I put it in the washer. So now there are rust stains on the fabric. I am so beyond frustrated with the whole stinky mess. I am waiting to have my melt down till after I see if I can cut around the marks. Or statically place them where they won't show. So if I can't and you happen to notice them remember I am an explorer/adventurer and I would have gotten dirty, and not my stupidity and having missed a STUPID little staple.

Date: 2014-03-08 09:27 pm (UTC)Is the fabric dry yet? Wool smells like wet dog when wet, and even worse when being ironed (hot wet dog), but it really shouldn't keep smelling like that when perfectly dry.
