It took 6 mock ups but I finally have a well fitted regency bodice. Well... For the bib-front. The evening one may require some fudging still but having this completed at least gives me a starting point.
Next up... Sleevils. *cry*
I had a minor break-down earlier. I was upset that I was on mock up 4 for such a simple era. It's only two pieces for Petes sake..... And I only have 3 weeks left. And my 18th century chemise that I was going to use has the completely wrong neckline, but I do not have time to make a new one. And the sleeves and bodice of the second gown still kind of scare me... And...cue the anxiety attack.
I'm feeling better now. And If I can reach my goal of having all the mock ups finished this weekend I will be in a even better place. So here's to hoping the sleeves don't want to be completely evil.

I probably had a million and one mock-ups for my 1790s dress. All those weird shapes make fitting difficult. Congrats on figuring it out! Best of luck with the sleevils! And if you get stuck, post some pictures. I've done that on more than one occasion and gotten tons of great advice from people who know so much more than I do.
