I had A LOT of fun this past weekend. Like seriously, way to much fun for my own good. I'll have to go into more detail later, but sum up is my dear aunt bought the Bell (brothel) and put the ladies who worked there out onto the streets, until the emperor of Spain convinced her to open its doors again. And then in attempts to get me out of my shell I was given a bowl of strawberries and cream and put between two gals who have been doing this much longer than I. We didn't say much, just smiled and giggled and feed each other berries as we walked through the crowds. Of course I make that sound very innocent... It was great fun, and I was probably scarlet more than I wasn't.
School wise my week is better than last. I got a B on my psychology report and a C- on my physiology test. I sway between feeling like a stupid toad and relief that I didn't completely fail. I really thought I had.
And I could use advice from my kitty owning friends. Little has taken to meowing at approximately 2 am on. It's driving both my husband and I nuts. We check his bowls, his litter box and everything else we can think he might be meowing for. He's not a dumb kitty. Usually meowing is to tell us he needs something. but this time we can't figure it out. If I grab him he is super affectionate. If he could get any closer he'd crawl into me. But he won't just stay cuddling. He leaves and then starts meowing again. I love him but he is making for a cranky mommy and an even crankier dad. My only guess is he doesn't like me being gone on the weekends. Hubby says it's all the time on the weekends. But if it's something else we need to figure it out and no matter the reason we need to try and fix the problem. Sleep is a must.

It sounds like Kitty missed you. Mine go through phases like that where one of them will get wanty at 3 AM. Dexter did last night, in fact. I cuddle with him and he eventually will go to the foot of the bed and let me sleep. Is Little still a baby? You could try playing and cuddling lots before bedtime to tire her out and make her feel special. Then maybe she'll let you sleep through the night,

Glad you had fun at faire!

When we left the baby girl alone for 7 weeks, she wouldn't leave me alone, despite the fact that it was the middle of summer and usually she doesn't like to be pet at all. On the weekends I go away for reenactment and other costuming things, she seems mildly annoyed ONLY if she realises I'm packing a suitcase. Unpacking is fine since she didn't see the offence being committed.

Aww! It definitely sounds like Little is missing you. Tiger goes through phases where he wakes me up at 4-5 am just for attention. As long as he is eating and drinking and using the bathroom like normal, he is probably just upset about the new routine.

Glad you hare having so much fun at faire!
