Inching my way closer

I am sewing much slower then I want to be. I was hoping to finish up the undies by/on Sunday and while I made a good attempt I didn't succede. The chemise is completely hemmed and the cuffs with  ribbon ties have been added. I have to finish the hand sewing on the cuffs and it can be showed off and claimed as done. I still want to add blackwork to the cuffs but with how slow I am sewing that may not happen in time. The corset, sadly, has not been touched since Friday when I cut out some muslin strips and pinned them to the corset to get the length and placement right. Now I Just need to work on making it pretty and how wide I want them so I can use that as my pattern piece and cut it out of the fashion fabric. So close but still ....
