llyrafantasyfaeI am trying to spoil my own plans. I really wanted to get more costumes done this year. I mean I still do but I am not making it easy. The blackwork is all done. It has been. It's been handwashed. Cut out and basted to a second piece of linen. That's where I have been stalled. I decided after all the work I put into it, I wanted to "do it right", Linen thread and by hand. So if I have nothing new to wear come costume college and comic con refer me back to this post. I just think I will be happier in the end if I do it this way.
Of course the linen thread is not just around the corner and when I went to town I couldn't find any, so I ordered online. That's on hold till the thread arrives.
I have started cutting out the fabric for seat covers. Perhaps buying dining room chairs with white cushions was not the smartest idea but they did look nice... so seat covers it is. The mock up went easier than I thought., hopefully they make up as easy. Other then that still helping my friend with making the giant dog bed, and my brothers jedi robes. Just the cover and collar on those two.
