Mar. 21st, 2015 12:00 amI got in some sewing today. In fact I was impressed how much I accomplished.
I finished two skirts. Your generic Ren faire, elastic waist skirt.
I also fixed a few seams on chemise shirts. And made a jerkin.


Drafted the pattern myself and made piping for it. I'm actually pretty proud of it.
Only thing that I feel off about is none of it is my stuff. I may of made a mistake of volunteering to help a non-sewing guild member with her stuff. She came over but had a whole list of things she needs and no real concept of how long it takes. I have to get my stuff done still... And as you all know my stuff won't be elastic waisted farby stuff, (she insisted she had the plans okay'd by the costumer director.... I just bit my tongue... Am I just that snarky????)
In fact this is what I am aiming for, for my stuff.

just with the kirtle opening side back, because the kirtle I am reworking is already made that way. I need to find the time... Where can I sign up for the extra hours in a day or the extra day in my week?
